How It Works
From the moment you get in touch with North Devon Garden Rooms, our aim is to make the entire process seamless, clear, and enjoyable.
1. Your Initial Appointment
We arrange a visit at a time that suits you — daytime, evening, or weekend. During this meeting we discuss your ideas, preferred size, design, and materials, while also assessing the site for access and logistics.
2. Your Quotation Package
After the site visit, we prepare a detailed quotation based on everything we’ve learned. Alongside your quotation, you’ll receive a comprehensive document pack including:

Optional extras

A photorealistic concept design
All of these services are completely free, with no obligation to proceed.
3. The Design Phase
If you choose to move forward, the next step is the design stage. This service costs £250 + VAT, allowing you unlimited redesigns until every detail is exactly how you want it.
You will receive a floor plan layout together with 3D visuals and where possible, your building shown in YOUR own garden to give you a realistic view of the completed project.
Your design fee is fully refunded against your deposit once an order is placed. If you decide not to continue, your only investment has been the design fee.
4. Contract Pack & Cooling-Off Period
Once your design is finalised, we issue electronic copies of your full contract pack, including all previously supplied documents and the sales contract.
A 14‑day cooling‑off period is included for your protection. Both parties sign the contract, and once signed, a deposit invoice is issued.
5. Build Preparation & Lead Time
When your deposit has cleared, we begin producing the workshop construction drawings and order all components required for your project.
Our typical lead time is around 6 weeks, depending on current commitments, weather conditions, and supplier schedules.
